We’ve been preparing this one for a while, they are all done and ready to print:

Wearable Mandalorian Dragonscale Helmets:

PRINT SETTINGS AND INFO:
(With Bambustudio and Orcaslicer all 3mf files are ready to load and print right away, with the correct orientation, we have already painted the manual supports on all of them, and set up the recommended settings to print.)

Layer height: 0.2mm

Infill density: 10%

Infill pattern: Gyroid

Supports: On build plate only, Manual tree supports (The models already have the supports painted on in the 3mf project file, in Bambu or Orca it loads in automatically, for other slicers see the “Support paint reference” images we provided in the folder), top interface layers:3 , support wall loops: 2 , Tree support branch angle 60

Post processing steps:

Step 1: Surface Preparation

  • Filler Primer: Apply Rust-Oleum Filler and Sandable Primer Spray to cover layer lines.

  • Sanding: Start with 120-grit sandpaper, moving to 220, then 600 grit. Wet sand for a smoother finish.

Step 2: Base Priming

  • White Primer: Spray with Rust-Oleum Painter’s Touch White for a uniform surface.

Step 3: Base Color

  • Metallic Paint: Apply Rust-Oleum Aged Metallic Weathered Steel as the main color.

Step 4: Detailing

  • Highlighting: Use Pébéo Silver for raised areas and edges.

  • Acrylic Paint: Use the Fantastory Acrylic Set for subtle color accents or shading.

Step 5: Finishing

  • Clear Coat: Apply Rust-Oleum Matte Clear for a soft finish or Gloss for shine.

Let each layer fully dry before moving on to the next step for best results.
