You can print not just one deer, but a full family of deers!:)

The papa and mama deer are print in place, NO supports needed!
The baby deer since it’s so tiny it’s only a figurine version, but even with a very low layer height (0.12mm) it prints in about 1h20m

Versions provided: 3 different deers, stl, multicolor 3mf, hollow eye & full eye version

Print difficulty level: Beginner to Intermediate

Recommended print settings: (If you use Bambu or Orca slicer, all the print settings are automatically loaded in each version’s 3mf files)

-Layer height: 0.2mm (for baby deer 0.12mm recommended)

-Wall loops: 3

-Infill: in the range of 7-10%, Gyroid

-Supports: No supports needed for papa and mama deer, for the baby deer you can activate auto tree supports, and it will make the tiniest supports in the world under the belly. It’s still quite important, we tested and it works perfectly with the supports, (set TopZ distance to 0.2, BottomZ distance 0.2)

Version1: Handpainted, 100% size , print time 2.5h

Filament: Bambu PLA Matte

Primer: Rust-Oleum Painter’s Touch Spray Paint White

Paint: Fantastory Craft Acrylic Paint Set (Use light and dark brown, black, white, peach and beige)

Clear coat finish: Rust-Oleum Matte Clear Coat or if you want glossy look Rust-Oleum Clear Gloss

Steps:

  • Prepare & Prime: Clean your model and apply a smooth coat of Rust-Oleum Painter’s Touch White Primer. Let it dry completely.

  • Paint with your chosen colors from the acrylic paint set

  • Sealing: Finish with Rust-Oleum Matte or Gloss Clear Coat for durability.

(Allow each layer to dry fully before moving to the next for the best results.)

Version2: Dual silk filament, gem eyes, 100% scale, print time 2.5h

Filament: Bambu Silk Dual Color

Gem eye: Allstarco 500PCS 8mm SS40 Blue Sapphire

Glue: Gorilla Super Glue Liquid

Steps:

  • Print with dual silk filament: don’t forget to put your filament setting preset to silk, since it usually needs different temperature than PLA

  • Attach Eyes: Place the 8mm Allstarco gems in each eye socket, attach it with glue
