A new Baby Elemental Dragon is coming very soon!
In less than 2 weeks from now, the Baby Air Elemental Dragon will hatch from its egg:

The elemental dragon eggs have a twist-lock top part, and we designed them that the dragon scale patters are hiding the seams in a nice natural way 🙂

Versions provided: stl, and 3mf with print settings (for Bambu and Orca slicer), Big size -for 160mm length dragons- and Small size -for 65-80mm length dragons.

Print difficulty level: Beginner to intermediate
Printing time:
–For the small size: 2h49m
–For the big size: 9h27m

Recommended print settings: (If you use Bambu or Orca slicer, all the print settings are automatically loaded in each version’s 3mf files)

-Layer height: 0.23-025mm, for the big size egg, 0.2mm for the small size

-Wall loops: 2

-Infill: 7%, Gyroid

-Supports: No supports needed!

Version1 – Gradient filament

Bambu Gradient PLA – Cotton Candy Cloud

Version2 – Handpainted

Version : Any of the 3 eggs – handpainted and/or airbrushed

Filaments: Bambu Matte PLA

Printer: Bambu P1S

Primer: Rust-Oleum Painter’s Touch Spray Paint White

Paint: Fantastory Craft Acrylic Paint Set 
OR if you have an airbush set: Airbrush Paint – 30 Colors

Clear coat finish seal: Rust-Oleum Matte Clear Coat or if you want glossy look Rust-Oleum Clear Gloss

Painting & Post-processing steps:

Step1: Priming: Base Coat

  • Apply Rust-Oleum Painter’s Touch Spray Paint White as a base primer. Let it dry completely.

  • Painting: Paint with your chosen color from the acrylic paint set or if you have airbrush set, you can paint with that too, definitely much faster and you can paint some nice gradients with it:)

  • Finish: Seal with Rust-Oleum Matte Clear Coat for a subtle finish or Clear Gloss for a shiny effect.
