❄️This cute little creature is the imp of winter, a trickster who brings cold weather and creates spirals in windows❄️
🗝️ Keychain hook build in
🧲 Magnet version coming up tomorrow!
INFO:
Versions provided: stl, and multicolor 3mf with print settings, 6mm craft eye, multiple print plates
Printing time: 1h
Print difficulty level: Beginner
Our frost imp is a pretty unique design, since most flexi keychains on the market have a flat back for the ease of printing, and to not require supports… it’s always a bit disappointing to see the flat back when we take them in our hands.
So we came up with a solution, to actually include the back part of the design, it prints on the same plate, and at the end you can just use the two little pins to snap the front and the back together, and you have a cute little keychain character with a full body!😊
The differences in filaments and printers can make the pins differ in size of a few fractions of a mm, if the pins you printed is a bit too tight or too loose when you assemble the Frost Imp, then you can try to upscale or downscale the pins by 2-3% (we left a separate PINS only plate in the 3mf), to make sure they are the perfect fit for your Frost Imp!
Recommended print settings:
(If you use Bambu or Orca slicer, ALL the print settings are automatically loaded in each version’s 3mf files)
-Layer height: 0.08mm
-Wall loops: 3
-Infill: 10%, Gyroid
-Supports: No supports needed for this design
For the multicolor version we have set up a 3mf file where you can print the Frost Imp in a bigger batch in a most cost-efficient way.
