-Layer height: 0.16mm

-Wall loops: 2

-Infill: 8%, Gyroid

-Supports: No supports needed:)

———————————————-
In the folder we included settings for the MULTICOLOR version with reduced waste:

Like this basically you’ll able to print not just one but TWO Spider Cats within the same time (even 1h shorter with our included settings) and less filament waste!:)
One will be fully multi-colored and the other has the colors purged in, which will be perfect to use if you want to do a quick filler primer spray and paintwork on it. (Scroll down for the painting and post-processing instructions)

We will start including these nice economical print settings more and more for our future designs as well, I think it’s a useful addition for people who haven’t figured out yet which are the best methods to print with their AMS.
Soon when we start our Discord channel we will have a full section with quick tutorials and a bunch of helpful stuff with printing:)

ALSO, for people who really want to print a lot in batches, and for all our Serev3d Authorized Sellers it might be useful/helpful if we include a cost-efficient version too (all these 3mf files are within the downloaded folder)

—->You can also use this super useful Spreadsheet of Bambu X1/P1/A1 Purge Values!

Painting and post-processing instructions

Filament: Bambu Matte PLA

Printed on: Bambu P1S

Filler Primer: Rust-Oleum Filler and Sandable Primer Spray

Sandpaper: 3m Pro Grade Grit: 120, 3m Pro Grade Grit:220, 3M Wet or dry Sandpaper Grit: 600
 and/or Bates- Sandpaper, 18 Pack, 12 Grits, 120 to 3000

Primer: Rust-Oleum Painter’s Touch Spray Paint White

OR XDOVET Airbrush Paint, 28 Colors Airbrush Paint Set

For the black web lines: ARTISTRO Black Acrylic Paint Pen

Clear coat finish: Rust-Oleum Matte Clear Coat or if you want glossy look Rust-Oleum Clear Gloss

  • Post-processing steps (if you don’t mind the layer lines being too dominant, you can skip the sanding part, and jump right to the primer coat and painting)

    • Sanding: Start with coarse sandpaper (120 grit) to smooth layer lines, then use finer grits (220) and lastly (400-600) for a more polished surface.

    • Filler Primer: Apply a filler primer coat to cover imperfections. Let it dry completely. (you can go over the model again with your sandpapers you used before)

    • Wet Sanding: Use 400-600 grit sandpaper for wet sanding the primer, repeating as needed for smoothness.

    • Final Primer Coat: Apply a thin layer of regular primer to create an even base for painting.

    • Painting: Paint with your chosen color from the acrylic paint set or if you have airbrush set, you can paint with that too, definitely much faster and you can paint some nice gradients with it:)
The model has beveled lines on the surface, you can follow that with your Acrylic Paint Pen easily to paint it.

    • Finish: Seal with Rust-Oleum Matte Clear Coat for a subtle finish or Clear Gloss for a shiny effect.

(Allow each layer to dry fully before moving to the next for the best results.)

And you’re done!:) Have fun, we are looking forward to see your 3d prints!
