By popular demand, the Breakable Eggs are making a comeback.
This time we placed a Poop Emoji, Rubber Duck and Middle Finger keychains in the eggs!
🥚The three designs come printed inside the egg
🥚The egg might look simple at first sight, but you will need to break it to get the hidden design is inside! Super fun and original Serev3d concept!
🥚We also made a reusable egg version
🥚Stl and Multicolor 3mf provided
🥚Each object made as a keychain!
IMPORTANT: Make sure to keep the scale of the egg, do not resize it, we made sure that printed at 100% size the printer will use a single layer of wall on the shell to crack it easily. If it’s scaled down or up too much, it will not print well at all, or it will be extremely hard to crack!
How to break the egg :
(the baby chick in the example gif is not one of the April Fools designs, it’s from our last month’s Three Wise Baby Chicks)
Pretty simple, find the line of the seams at the back of the shell, don’t be scared to press hard to pierce it. We also added a tiny little break in the back to make it easier to open. Once you see the Mystery Designs inside, you can push it down and the bottom seal will break too. At the end, you can remove the platform. We also painted a multicolor 3mf version, if you have a multicolor printer.

Printing time: 45min
Versions provided: Stl, multicolor 3mf with print settings on multiple print plates
This is how the multicolor version looks like after slicing:
Reusable egg provided:
* There’s only one way to make the egg fit to close!
There’s a visible vertical seam on the outside pieces, ALSO we placed a small triangle shape on the inside of the reusable egg shell, make them aligned and they will fit together perfectly!
Recommended print settings:
(If you use Bambu or Orca slicer, ALL the print settings are automatically loaded in each version’s 3mf files)
-Layer height: 0.2mm
-Wall loops: 2
-Infill: 7%, Gyroid
-Supports: No supports needed for this design!
NOTE: if your slicer gives you a warning about “floating regions” in the object, you can ignore the message, the prints were tested beforehand, and it all works perfectly.
